About this product
Build a little Christmas village. Eight pastel paper houses in the style of vintage putz houses - the sugary, snow-dusted cardboard houses set under the tree in the 1940s - to print, cut, fold and glue.
WHAT YOU GET - 2 PDF files · 5 pages
· 8 houses - Chapel, Bakery, Toy Shop, Cottage, Post Office, Sweet Shop, Village Inn, Schoolhouse
· Each house: one piece of walls with gable ends and tabs, and its own snowy roof
· Two houses on each page, 4 house pages
· A how-to page showing every house
· A4 and US Letter
You will need
Light card stock, scissors and a glue stick.
How to make them
1. Print the house pages at 100% scale on light card stock.
2. Cut out the walls and the roof of each house along the outer grey line.
3. Fold the walls inwards on every dotted line - between the walls, the side tab and the four gable tabs. Fold the roof in half on its dotted line.
4. Rub the glue stick on the side tab and press it inside the edge of the front wall to close the walls. Glue the four gable tabs and press the roof on, the fold along the gable points.
5. Stand the houses together on a mantel, a shelf or a tray to make a little Christmas village.
The bottom of each house stays open. The pieces need scissors, so children should make them with an adult.
About the art
The house fronts, side walls and roofs were created with AI image tools under the creative direction of the seller - we chose every house, the colours and the style and picked each final image.
